Sir Gawain

So its pretty much clear that the "lord" is the green knight. I'm not really sure how this whole story is gonna wrap up though. I think the queen or the one chick who is trying to get it on with him is pretty much bad news. I've gotten to the part with the green corslet that supposedly protects him from anything. I hope he walks in all cocky and what not then gets his head cut off by the green knight. I personally think that would be kinda funny but hey thats just me.

Well, hate to ruin it if you haven't figured it out, but those two women are the same people. The girl who is trying it "get it on with hime" is the queen.
And that might be somewhat entertaining since he would definately not be expecting it.

yeah I have to say you're right about her being bad news. I could see that being funny too. Tana is right, he would not be expecting it.

Thanks for posting early even if you hadn't finished the book so people would have something to post to. I'm surprised by the lateness of the hour, and the few number of posts. Good job to those of you who did post. You'll figure it out when you finish the poem... or at least before the quiz during 6th period. *evil laugh*

Ok, so from reading your comments, I've realized that I missed something. Where did the two women suddenly morph into one? I'm super confused!!! If someone would please explain, preferably before the quiz tomorrow, that would be really fabulous!

I don't think there was ever a question of the two women becoming one, Carmen. The young woman was the lord of the castle's wife, and I think the old woman may have been Morgan le Fay, who was mentioned really late in the last section of the book.

Of course, I might also be totally missing the mark.
